Product Owner

🚀 The role

We’re seeking an experienced product owner with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software product management. We want you to take ownership of our current and future products that have millions of active users across the globe. For Massive, ownership means improving user retention, defining and prioritizing new features, planning and roadmaps.
You’ll be joining a team of 12 full-time employees, two-thirds of whom are engineers. You’ll work alongside the sales and engineering teams to bring partners from agreement to integration.

Brian Kennish, Co-founder and CTO: Pre-IPO Google engineer, on the teams that launched Google’s first 3 APIs then the Chrome browser; developer of 7 subsequent apps with 1M+ active users, including Disconnect (privacy software available on ~1B users’ computers) and Adblock Fast (an ad blocker with 10M+ users)
Jael Taillefer, Director of Engineering: For the past 13 years, using modern stacks, he’s scoped, built, and architected highly scalable solutions to meet the demand for more speed and traffic

📋 Responsibilities

  • Bring integrations from agreement to implementation
  • Ensure and communicate around timelines
  • Manage the product lifecycle, from idea through development to launch
  • Work with a designer to deliver prototypes, integration mockups, and incentive ideas
  • Define and manage features, priorities, and roadmaps
  • Ensure the features are released on time
  • Define business rules
  • Define success criteria
  • Define and monitor key product metrics
  • Manage the purchase and optimization of installs
  • Drive retention and ARPU optimization projects
  • Support app developer partners
  • QA & testing

🧭 Ideal candidate

  • 3+ years of software product management experience
  • Experience working in early-stage startups
  • Strong analytical skills, to analyze product performance data and the impact of changes
  • Experience collecting both internal and external customer feedback
  • Write user stories and feature breakdowns
  • Good understanding of data and the ability to generate reports
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and organization skills
  • Able to handle multiple priorities
Would be a plus:
  • 2–3 years of experience as a project manager or scrum master
  • 2–3 years of consulting experience
  • Experience in the blockchain space
  • UI/UX skills
  • Social media skills
  • Web marketing experience
  • Agile certification is desirable
Anywhere in a time zone between EST and PST preferred; we’ve found that large time differences can be tough in a small team; you don’t need to be in the US
